Michaleen Melby(left) had a birthday on January 24 07 and asked that instead of gifts, her friends and family would bring donations for the animal shelter.
Her sister Michaela Melby(right) had a birthday on February 8, 07 and also had gifts brought for the animal shelter.
We would like to thank these two girls for their generosity and thoughtfulness. The donations are greatly needed and appreciated!

Sarah Grater (above) had a birthday party and instead of gifts, she had people get her supplies for the humane society. Accepting supplies a behalf of CCHS is animal caregiver Jenna Warren. Thank you so much Sarah!
Thank you!
On December 27, 2006, the Northscott 4 H group from Pardeeville arrived at the shelter, eager to interact with our dogs and cats. In addition, they were able to experience the day to day cleaning routine of the shelter staff. The 4-H group helped with the cleaning of windows, dishes, and folding laundry. Yes, the shelter staff not only takes excellent care of our animals but also needs to maintain the facility as well. Hats off to the Northscott 4-H group for assisting our shelter staff and our animals during the busy holiday week!!

Thank You Hannah!
Hannah Bauman and her family came to CCHS about 4 years ago in search of a dog. They found Gizmo(now named Buddy) a puppy Rottweiler/Lab mix. The family is extremely happy they found him. Hannah decided that for her birthday instead of receiving gifts for herself, she would ask for gifts for the humane society. Her friends bought her supplies for the animals and Hannah then delivered them to the shelter. Pictured are just a few of the supplies and toys she received for her birthday for the animals at CCHS. Pictured left to right, Susan Bratcher(Director), Jenna Warren(caregiver) and Hannah Bauman.
Thanks so much for your generosity for Hannah! The staff and the animals appreciate your kind heart.
Thank you!
St. Patricks Parish's Youth group had a bake sale and raised funds for the shelter. They then took the money that was raised and went shopping to buy us much needed supplies.
