Adoption Price Lowered on All Kittens!

We have 150 cats at our shelter right now, with 97 of them being kittens. The shelter has never had so many kittens! At the present time, we are lowering their adoption fee. Kittens are regularly $80 each; now they are only $60. Two kittens can be adopted for $100. All kittens have been spayed/neutered, microchipped, and have received distemper shots. Some kittens and adult cats have their fees reduced or waived because their adoption fees have been sponsored. Check our listing to see who is available. More cats and kittens are added regularly.

Update on Cat Cage Fund!

We would like to thank everybody who has donated so far to the CCHS Cat Cage Fund. Because of your generosity, we have purchased this bank of cages for the cat adoption room, and we have enough money to buy all new cages for our cat intake room. From the pictures you can see how much better the new cages are. We have solid partitions between cages instead of hanging towels. This will help keep all of our cats healthy! We felt it was important to do the intake room before we finish the cat adoption room because that is where all the animals go when they first arrive at the shelter. Many of these animals have upper respiratory problems when they come into the shelter, and the new cages will help keep the other cats healthy until they are able to be moved up front and be adopted. Thanks to everybody for making our dream of new cat cages come true! We haven't reached our goal of all new cages yet, but we're well on our way!

CAT CAGE FUND!

CCHS needs to replace the cat cages in the shelter.
The new cages will allow us to house more cats and will have solid dividers between the cages to prevent the spread of disease.
Please consider donating to this worthy cause.
On behalf of the cats, thank you for your generosity!
