Pet of the Week!

Sam!!!
My name is Sam! Check out my mask! My head doesn't even look like it belongs to me, but it sure does! I am the cutest beagle mix who definately needs a family who will walk me and exercise me. I am mellow and laid back which has made me a tad bit overweight! I am housetrained and I don't even need a crate. I just hang out. I am good with cats and I like dogs too but it takes a little bit for me to warm up to them. I would prefer a dog the same size and activity level, but I am open to warm up to your dog. I am not a good watchdog, I would probably allow anyone to steal your fine china! I would be best in an adult home. I do need walks but doesn't everyone??Please consider me! You will fall in love!

2009 Dog Paddle and Pool!

Barb Byrnes and Assistant Director Simone Ederer and Astro the dog pictured for the Dog Paddle Fundraiser. This was the 4th annual fundraiser for the shelter and it was a success. $3,250.00 was raised to help homeless pets at CCHS!

Looking to buy something for CCHS? We are in desperate need of canned dog food. All donations large or small are greatly appreciated.

CAT CAGE FUND!

CCHS needs to replace the cat cages in the shelter.
The new cages will allow us to house more cats and will have solid dividers between the cages to prevent the spread of disease.
