We would like to thank everybody who has donated so far to the CCHS Cat Cage Fund. Because of your generosity, we have purchased this bank of cages for the cat adoption room, and we have enough money to buy all new cages for our cat intake room. From the pictures you can see how much better the new cages are. We have solid partitions between cages instead of hanging towels. This will help keep all of our cats healthy! We felt it was important to do the intake room before we finish the cat adoption room because that is where all the animals go when they first arrive at the shelter. Many of these animals have upper respiratory problems when they come into the shelter, and the new cages will help keep the other cats healthy until they are able to be moved up front and be adopted. Thanks to everybody for making our dream of new cat cages come true! We haven't reached our goal of all new cages yet, but we're well on our way! CAT CAGE FUND!The new cages will allow us to house more cats and will have solid dividers between the cages to prevent the spread of disease. Please consider donating to this worthy cause. On behalf of the cats, thank you for your generosity! Want to help? Click here! |
